Military Support

Military Support
We value the commitment our young men and women make to defend freedom and the American way of life.  Join us as we do our part to support them with love and prayer through "Operation Tearoom Troopcare" and "The Mom Brigade."

Update:  For the last couple of years, we have been doing monthly mailings to deployed soldiers.    We have replaced this program to support our wounded warriors.  All donations will now be forwarded to young men recuperating at Walter Reed.  It does my heart good to be able to help support the families of those who have been seriously wounded.  Our first wounded warrior project was in honor of Josh Sams and his family.    We sent a Valentine's box of goodies, get well cards, and a $300 check for him family.  Thanks for all your support!

 Operation Tearoom Troop Care
Through donations each week, we are able to send about 6 to 10 care packages and letters to deployed men and women all over the world. The national organization, Soldiers' Angels, supplies us with our names, while donations from employees and loyal customers keep our small operation running. Feel free to stop by and make a donation! Items most often requested by soldiers are crew socks, baby wipes, chapstick, single serving peanut butter, beef jerkey, toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, soap, eye drops, gum, candy, energy shots, snack crackers, and individual powdered drink mixes.

 THE MOM BRIGADE
Help us support our children with the power of prayer as we support each other during deployments.

A group of mothers, wives, and relatives who gather to pray (In the name of Jesus Christ) their military heroes safely home from deployment abroad. Until their return, we support each other emotionally, commit to daily prayer for the protection of our troops, send care packages and letters, and share experiences, ideas and knowledge.   Join us as we come together in "prayers and projects" for the ones we love!

Proudly supporting our troops for their faithfulness and courage!

Next Meeting September 19th, 2011, 6 - 7 pm
Join us as we pack boxes and pray for our loved ones!
