French God and Country Medal from WWI

This is totally cool.  It is a silver French pendant from World War I inscribed God and Country.  Pendant is approximately 1.25" in length including the bail.  I have incrementally hand knotted it with 8-10mm white keishi pearls using gray silk thread.  Length of the necklace is 17", not including the length of the pendant.  It is finished with a sterling lobster clasp.
