Veterans of Foreign Wars Medal

Although I prefer working with pearls and gemstones, I couldn't resist working with these czech glass beads.  The beads are 9mm in size with ivory and soft blue swirls.  The medal is just shy of 1.25" in diameter and has great bronze tones.  Front of medal reads, "VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS OF THE UNITED STATES" with profile busts of Lincoln and Washington facing each other and a flag inbetween them. The reverse side reads, "AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP. ONE FLAG. ONE COUNTRY. ONE LANGUAGE."  Necklace measures 19.5" in length, not including the length of the pendant, and is finished with a sterling spring ring closure.
