This vintage bit of history is polished  bronze and 1.75" in diameter, created in France by J. Mauger, commemorating the Battle of Soleby.  On one side is the Head of King Louis XIV.  The obverse is Neptune standing in his cart drawn by two horses, threatening with his trident Holland and her lion. 

 

I have incrementally hand knotted medal using 7mm top drilled pink pearls and gold vermeil beads. m  Necklace is 19", not including length of the pendant, and is finished with a gold vermeil spring ring closure.
