WWII Italian Army Medal with Pearls

Another great everyday wear.  This wonderfully old war medal is hand knotted on 8mm white pearls.  The medal reads:  "Regione Militare Della Sardegna - Comando Servizi Sanitari."  Necklace is 19" in length, not including length of medal, and finished with a sterling spring ring closure.  Another great piece of history.
