This bronze medal is 1.25" in diameter and stamped on both sides.  On one side it is inscribed Efficiency, Honor, Fidelity.  On the back side it is inscribed, For Good Conduct.  What a wonderful piece of American history. 

 

I have hand knotted it using 8 - 9 mm pink pearls.  Necklace measures 18" in length, not including length of pendant and is finished with a gold vermeil spring ring closure.
